My job is to make your wedding day as low-stress as possible while capturing all of those moments you never want to forget. I’m more than just your wedding photographer, I’ll help you with everything from planning your timeline to checking that your dress is bustled correctly so that you can stay in the moment and soak in every second of the day you’ve been planning!

Once you decide to move forward as a Brittany Dyess Photography Bride, I will send a contract and invoice and once I receive those back, your date will officially be locked in on my calendar, YAY!

One Month from your Wedding Day. As we get closer to your wedding day, I will help you decide whether or not you want to do a first look by giving you pros and cons of seeing your hubby BEFORE you walk down the aisle. This choice will guide your wedding day timeline that we will build together! A solid timeline will ensure everything stays on time for your wedding day. When I help you build your timeline, I make sure we have enough time for photos and I will help you maximize your time with your future hubby! Another ordinarily stressful part of a wedding day is family photos. I will help you minimize your formal family portrait list and time spent taking them while still making sure we capture you and your hubby with all of your important family and friends.

One Week Away. Finally, when we’re one week out from your wedding, I’ll give you a few ideas of things you can do to make your wedding day go as smoothly as possible! For example, making sure your rings are cleaned, everything is in the bridal suite for when I get there to shoot details, and delegating tasks so you aren’t the point-person on your big day.

THE BIG DAY. On your wedding day, I always show up at least 30 minutes before it is time for me to start shooting so I can scope out the area and find locations—based on ideal lighting—for all of the important parts of the day (first look, family portraits, etc.). I’ll come to you with my thoughts but I’ll also ask if you’ve thought about where you want to do those special parts of the day to make sure everything goes the way you want it to! I’ll shoot details (rings, shoes, flowers, invitation suites, etc.), make sure the guys are ready (because I know that’s what alllll brides worry about) and then we’ll hit the ground running, capturing all of the moments your family will cherish for generations to come!

After the Wedding. After your wedding day, you’ll get a few sneak peeks within 48 hours! I promise to deliver your full wedding gallery within 60 days of your wedding (but it’s always sooner). I always send galleries digitally, so you can download all of the photos to your computer, a thumb drive, or an external hard drive of your choice (or multiple forms of media to make sure you don’t lose your photos should a hard drive crash)!

Throughout all of our interactions leading up to your wedding day, I hope to develop lifelong friendships with my couples! I love when we have things in common and chat about things other than your wedding day. I love watching my brides and grooms growing in their relationship with each other and having adventures together, even after our formal business relationship has ended!
