Digital Downloads for COVID-19
Hi there, friends. This is a different kind of post than I normally do, but it’s an important one! Like many of you, God has put it on my heart to consider how I can help those who have been most impacted by this COVID-19 crisis. Some of you may know my husband, Ryan, is a firefighter. One day, early on into the quarantine period, he came home from work saying the county was having to ration the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) because they did not have enough supplies to last at the current burn rate. A lack of PPE meant that many of his brothers, and many healthcare workers around the nation, would be without adequate protection while helping people who are fighting this disease. Those same providers would then have to go home to their families every night hoping they hadn’t caught Corona that day at work, and hoping they were not passing it on to their families. This prompted me to think about how I could, in some small way, help those who are out there helping the sick and putting themselves at risk.
I started thinking and did some research and have decided to put all those random pictures of cool buildings and pretty flowers and beaches and mountains I have been taking for the last 5+ years to good use. So, I decided to make this album of some of my favorite photos of landscapes, flowers, sunsets, buildings, etc. that I’ve taken since I got my first “big girl” camera in 2014 and put the digital version of the photos up for purchase. Pricing on all of the photos is $10 for the full-size image, $7.50 for a social media-sized image. Half of the proceeds I make on the sale of these downloads will be donated to Project C.U.R.E. (https://projectcure.org/) which is currently committing 100% of their resources to assist the response to COVID-19 here in America, specifically providing PPE for healthcare providers and first responders.
If you would like to help support those on the front lines, while also getting to download a pretty picture (that you’re welcome to print to hang in your home), please feel free to click this link and take a look at some of our favorite places from the last 5 years. If you can’t support monetarily, but would like to further this effort, please feel free to share this post and join me in praying for our healthcare workers and first responders who go into harm’s way each day to try to help these ailing people.
