Mr. and Mrs. Hill | Barns of Madison County Summer Wedding
Austin and Hannah’s wedding at the stunning Barns of Madison County was so special and memorable! This was my first wedding ever where the ceremony had to stop after it started because it was DUMPING rain.
Mr. and Mrs. Gelles | Northern Virginia Farm Wedding
Tyler and Annie got married at the stunning and historic Sunnyside Farm in Hamilton, Virginia. The weather was perfect for an early October wedding. Thankfully we were blessed with a beautiful overcast day and not a single drop of rain!! It was an emotional and fun day all around. I loved how thoughtful Annie’s details were to her. She incorporated many family heirlooms and things her mother had given her, which made it extra special.
Mr. and Mrs. Leis | Central Virginia Farm Wedding
Austin and Sami’s central Virginia barn wedding was emotional (and fun!) from start to finish. Their family and bridal party welcomed me like I was one of their own from the very beginning.
Should we do a first look?
The question most brides agonize over while planning their big day—should I do a first look with my groom?! If you ask me as a wedding photographer? ABSOLUTELY.
Sunset Portraits: What they are and why they should be on your wedding day timeline
Planning your wedding day timeline can be stressful. Determining what to include and what not to is one of the major stressors of a bride. I'm here to tell you why it's important you add bride and groom sunset portraits to your wedding day timeline.
Kody + Kate | Fourth of July Virginia Farm Wedding
Kody and Kate got married on the Fourth of July at the beautiful Layz S Ranch in central Virginia. These two and their entire bridal party were total troopers as we toughed out 90+ degree heat and direct sun to capture all of these amazing pictures. The day also included a father-daughter dance that started out with playing catch, surprise confetti cannons courtesy of the groomsmen, and Kate surprising Kody with Signature DJs’ awesome “Sparktacular Impact” exit
Matt + Lindsey | Rustic VA Wedding
Matt and Lindsey’s Virginia Farm wedding was absolutely perfect and as beautiful as their love story. There was not a single cloud in the sky all day and while it was a bit windy for late March we couldn’t have asked more more perfect weather. Matt and Lindsey’s first date was at a family game night and was basically a blind date. When Lindsey’s matron of honor/sister-in-law texted her the next day to see if she liked Matt, Lindsey and Matt were already hanging out (so I guess that was a yes)!
